Implementation of the Uganda Girls Educational Support Project

This project will trigger improved livelihoods among the rural girls through enhanced access to formal and informal education programs.  This project will see more than 500 needy girls supported with Schools fees to pursue secondary or vocational education annually, for the next five (5) girls.  The girls will also be provided with scholastic materials while their families will receive capacity building for engagement in gain-some income-generating activities. The project will in addition give capacity building to selected Schools supporting the education of vulnerable youth in Mukono, Kayunga, Buikwe, and Jinja Districts for improved service delivery.  The estimated annual budget is US$ 200,000.
