Since 1998, Fairland Foundation has maintained an active community presence and has implemented numerous projects for the benefit of various communities. Fairland Foundation established and continues to support the operation of Fairland High School, situated in Mukono Town Council at Nakabago village. Over 400 orphans and needy children receive affordable vocationalized secondary education annually.
It has also sensitized communities in Mukono, Kampala, Jinja, and Kayunga on better living, trained 25 community health workers (CHWs), and facilitated the establishment of health committees in 5 villages. It has provided a water system for Fairland High School and the community at Nakabago, comprised of a bore-hole and submersible pump. It has sensitized 300 orphans in Buwenge Sub-county on high-risk behavior to reduce the HIV/AIDS incidence among them.
In addition, Fairland Foundation has sensitized students about voting and related rights, taught 400 households in Buwenge, Jinja, and 300 parents from Kayunga, Mukono, and Kampala about children rights and the role parents have to play in ensuring those rights, and collaborated with local council chairpersons, NGOs, and CBOs in Mukono Town Council to mobilize people to go out and vote.
